In this page we are providing the details of Entrance Examination for admission to Post Graduate Degree Course in Pharmacy - 2011 conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala. Introduction

Applications are invited for the Entrance Examination for admission to Post Graduate Degree Course in Pharmacy (M.Pharm)-2011 in the following specialties:
(a) Pharmaceutical Analysis
(b) Pharmacognosy & Phyto Chemistry
(c) Pharmaceutics
(d) Pharmacology
(e) Pharmacy Practice
(f) Pharmaceutical Chemistry.

The CEE will conduct the Entrance Examination, publish the Rank list of candidates based on merit as assessed in the Entrance Examination and forward the same to Director of Medical Education for allotment and admission.

Eligibility for Admission

(i) Nativity: Only Indian citizens of Kerala origin are eligible to apply. For sponsored seats all Indian citizens are eligible.

(ii) Academic qualifications: Pass in B.Pharm Degree of any of the Universities in Kerala or of any other Universities recognized by the Kerala University of Health & Allied Sciences as equivalent thereto from an institution recognized by the AICTE with a minimum of 55% marks for all the four years of B.Pharm examination taken together. Also for lecturers in Pharmacy who seek admission against the reserved quota, the minimum marks will be 55%.

Selection:

Based on Entrance Examination (except for seats reserved for Lecturer in Pharmacy, nominee of Drugs Control Department/Service candidates under DME/ DHS/ESI and Sponsored candidates) to be conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala on 11.12.2011 at Thiruvananthapuram. The Entrance Examination shall be of the standard of B.Pharm and will consist of one paper of three hours duration with 200 objective (multiple choice) type questions.

How to apply:

Prospectus and Online Application form will be available from 16.11.2011 onwards on the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in (See Clause XI of the Prospectus). Application forms are common for General, Service and Sponsored candidates and Application Fee is Rs.800/-(Rupees Eight Hundred Only). Candidates seeking admission to this course can apply in the online application form provided on the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations and then remit the required fee at any State Bank of Travancore Branch using the Bank Chalan which is available with the online application print out. Candidates residing outside Kerala state can remit the application fee by way of Demand Draft drawn from any nationalized bank in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram. Application forms will not be sold from the office of the CEE or office of the DME. Application Fee once remitted will not be refunded under any circumstances.

For Service & Sponsored candidates, application fee should be remitted in the Treasury under the Head of Account “0210-03-105-99” and the chalan receipt should be attached with the application form.

Candidates may go through the details given in the Prospectus for admission to the Post graduate degree courses in Pharmacy (M.Pharm)-2011, approved by the Government of Kerala, available on the website at www.cee.kerala.gov.in before filling in the application form.
